How to Order

Four years ago, we started with a mission to feed our community here in Kern County, but that’s grown further than we ever imagined. So in case you’ve been wondering how to get to us . . . here’s how!

Our online store is the best way to order — for the locals and our friends across the country!

There you can shop for a single steak to try, a box to stock up for the month, or even a half share. You’ll notice our prices are by the package instead of by the pound; we maintain a standard size for our cuts to give you the best value we can. Our beef is vacuum-sealed and frozen, whether you come to the ranch shop or get it shipped to you.

If you are local, you have a few options!

We make deliveries in Bakersfield twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, for all orders received up until those days. You can also come to the ranch to pick up your order and browse our other ranch provisions — we’re open to the public on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and we enjoy showing people around so they can see our process up close! If you don’t live in town, we ship beef throughout the west coast every Tuesday. Though we love shipping because it means our community expands and we get to share our beef with people all over, it’s not without its challenges. There’s quite a bit that goes into each shipment — boxes, special liners that keep meat cold for up to 48 hours, and dry ice that has to be picked up weekly — and that’s all before it leaves our shop!

We also introduced something new this year — our Friends of the Family subscription!

Become a member and receive a custom Redhouse Beef box shipped to your door the first week of every month.

Last but not least, there are a few other places in Bakersfield where you can enjoy our beef.

We love collaborating with our community — especially our friends at Moo Creamery, where you can get the best burger around, all made with Redhouse beef. Then you can find our ranch provisions, like raw honey and beef jerky over at Nanette Art & Design, or stop by Baker’s Outpost for a delicious egg salad sandwich with our pastured eggs on fresh-baked sourdough. We look forward to seeing you — whether it’s online, at the ranch, or out and about in town!
